Sport Otago held the inaugural All-Star Showdown! This was exhilarating clash between Otago sports stars, all in support of Sporting Chance. This fund, managed by Sport Otago, aims to provide financial assistance to children and youth facing disadvantage, enabling them to actively participate in sport and recreation.
With a range of our amazing sporting stars all on one court including, Otago Rugby, Southern Steel and Silver Ferns, Otago Nuggets and Southern Hoiho, as well as retired legends of our province, it's was a great watch!
In an exciting turn of events, the gold team dominated the first half, only for the blue team to stage an impressive comeback, securing a resounding 69-52 victory by the game's end.
